It Matters How You See

What matters to us who are born again is how we see ourselves. God does not want us to see or observe situations, circumstances, and challenges like ordinary people. Therefore, God instructed us to see the invisible in 2 Corinthians 4:18. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. To do that, you need an anointing.

And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.(1 Sam. 17:28). Eliab wasn't able to see it with his spirit eyes. He did not sense the anointing that came into David's life. He could not see that God would make David king over Israel in the future.

But we can see the child's future by looking at him. But to do that, you need an anointing. In order to know the future of a child, we must mature in walking with the Holy Spirit. "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:17). When the baby, the Lord Jesus, was brought into the temple, Simeon and Ana, the prophets of God, saw Jesus and recognized that He was the Messiah. A spiritually mature person will never belittle or ridicule others. Mature man loves another

I will paint the future of people in my heart and treat them with love. For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7). The written Word mentions glorious things about us. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. (Hebrews 10:7). Jesus walked in his predestined destiny, found his own destiny and purpose in the written Word, and accomplished the glorious things that were said about himself. Luke 4:17-21 tells us how the Lord entered into his destiny. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

The Lord realized that those verses were written about him, and he publicly admitted them.

Now if we check ourselves, Psalm 87:3 says. Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah. This is speaking of you and me, the new creatures in Christ Jesus. We are the city of God. The Word lists glorious things about us: glorious stories of our inheritance, position, power, freedom, and privileges in Christ Jesus. It is each of us responsibility to find them, get into them and look into the Word to fulfill our respective destiny. Our destiny is in the Word of God, and it has become. Learn to see yourself and people with the eyes of the spirit. This can be done by giving thanks to the Lord in Christ and praying for them and rejoicing. Sooner or later, God will begin to show us His future and their future. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (John 16:13).

거듭난 우리에게 중요한 것은, 우리 자신이 어떻게 보느냐입니다. 하나님께서는 우리가 상황과 환경과 도전을 보통 사람처럼 보거나 관찰하기를 원치 않으십니다. 그러므로 하나님께서는 고린도후서 4:18에서 우리에게 보이지 않는 것을 보라고 지시하셨습니다. 우리가 바라보는 것은 보이는 것들이 아니요, 보이지 않는 것들이라. 이는 보이는 것들은 잠깐뿐이지만 보이지 않는 것들은 영원하기 때문이라. 그렇게 하기 위해서는 기름부음이 필요합니다. 예를 들면, 형들을 살펴보고 오라는 아버지의 지시를 받고 전쟁터로 갔던 다윗은 블레셋의 최고 전사인 골리앗이 이스라엘 자손들을 모욕하는 소리를 들었습니다. 그때 다윗은 병사들에게 그 거인 골리앗을 꺾는 자에게는 무슨 해택이 주어지는지 물어보았습니다. 하지만 맏형인 엘리압은 다윗을 호되게 꾸짖어서 입을 다물게 말들어 집으로 돌려보내려고 했습니다. 다윗이 사람들과 말하고 있을 때, 그의 큰 형 엘리압이 들은지라, 다윗을 향하여 엘리압이 분노를 발하며 말하기를 “어찌하여 네가 여기에 왔느냐? 광야에 있는 그 양 몇 마리는 누구에게 남겨 두었느냐? 내가 네 교만과 네 마음의 방자함을 아노니, 이는 네가 전쟁을 구경하러 내려왔음이라.” 하니(삼상 17:28). 엘리압은 영으로 볼 수 없었습니다. 그는 다윗의 삶에 임한 기름부음을 감지하지 못했습니다. 그는 하나님께서 다윗을 장차 이스라엘의 왕으로 삼으실 것임을 볼 수 없었습니다. 그러나 우리는 아이를 보면서 그 아이의 장래를 알 수 있습니다. 그러나 그러기 위해서는 기름부음이 필요합니다. 아이의 장래를 알기 위해서는 성령님과 동행하는 일에서 성숙해야 합니다. 이 복음 안에는 믿음에서 믿음에 이르게 하는 하나님의 의가 계시되었으니 기록된 바 “의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라.” 함과 같으니라(롬 1:17). 아기이신 주 예수님을 성전으로 데리고 들어가자, 하나님의 선지자들이었던 시므온과 아나는 예수님을 보고는 그분이 메시아임을 인식했습니다. 영적으로 성숙한 사람은 절대로 다른 사람들을 얕잡아보거나 조롱하지 않습니다. 성숙한 사람은 다른 사람들의 장래를 마음속에 그리며 사랑으로 대할 것입니다. 이는 우리가 믿음으로 행하고 보는 것으로 하지 아니함이라(고후 5:7). 기록된 말씀에는 우리에 대한 영광스러운 일들이 언급되어 있습니다. 이에 내가 말하기를 하나님이시여 보시옵소서 두루마리 책에 나를 가리켜 기록된 것과 같이 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하셨느니라(히 10:7). 예수님께서는 예정된 운명 안에서 걸으셨고, 자신의 운명과 목적을 기록된 말씀에서 찾아내셨고, 자신에 관해 언급된 영광스러운 일들을 성취하셨습니다. 누가복음 4:17-21은 주님께서 어떻게 자신의 운명 안으로 들어가셨는지를 알려줍니다. 선지자 이사야의 책을 드리니 그 책을 펴시고 이같이 기록된 부분을 찾으시더라. “주의 영이 내게 임하시니 이는 가난한 자들에게 복음을 전하게 하시려고 내게 기름을 부으심이라. 그가 나를 보내셨으니 이는 마음이 상한 자를 치유케 하시며, 포로들에게 구원을 선포하고, 눈먼 자를 보게 하고, 짓밟힌 자들을 해방시켜 주고 주의 기뻐 받으시는 해를 전파하게 하심이라.”고 하시고 책을 덮으신 후 그것을 맡은 자에게 다시 주고 앉으시니, 회당에 있는 모든 사람의 눈이 그에게로 주목되더라. 주께서 그들에게 말씀하기 시작하시어 “이 성경이 오늘날 너희 귀에 이루어졌느니라.”고 하시니. 주님께서는 그 구절들이 자신에 관하여 기록된 것이라는 사실을 깨닫고, 이를 공개적으로 인정하셨습니다. 이제 우리 자신에 관하여 확인해 보면, 시편 87:3은 말합니다. 오 하나님의 도성아, 너에 관하여 영광스러운 것들이 이야기되는 도다. 이것은 그리스도 예수 안에서 새로운 피조물인 저와 여러분을 말하고 있는 것입니다. 우리는 하나님의 도성입니다. 말씀에는 우리에 관하여 영광스러운 일들 즉 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리의 유업, 위치, 능력, 자유, 특권들에 관한 영광스러운 이야기가 나열되어 있습니다. 그것들을 찾아내고, 그 안으로 들어가서 우리 각자의 운명을 성취하기 위해 말씀을 들여다보는 것은 우리 각자의 책입니다. 우리의 운명은 하나님의 말씀 안에 있으며, 이미 정해져 있습니다. 영의 눈으로 자신과 사람들을 보는 법을 배우십시오. 이 일은 그리스도 안에서 주께 감사하며, 그들을 위해 기도하고 기뻐함으로써 이루어질 수 있습니다. 머지않아 하나님께서는 우리에게 자신의 장래와 그들의 장래를 보여주기 시작하실 것입니다. 그러나 진리의 영이신 그분이 오시면 너희를 모든 진리로 인도하시리라. 그분은 자신에 관하여 말씀하지 아니하시며, 무엇이나 들은 것을 말씀하실 것이요, 또 너희에게 다가올 일들을 알려 주시리라(요 16:13).
