I am the good shepherd

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.  ​But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

나는 선한목자입니다.

도둑은 오직 도둑질하고 죽이며 멸망시키려고 오지만, 내가 온 것은 양들로 생명을 얻고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려 함이라.

나는 선한 목자라. 선한 목자는 양들을 위하여 자기 생명을 내어 놓으나 삯꾼은 목자가 아니요, 양들도 자기 양들이 아니므로 이리가 오는 것을 보면 양들을 버려 두고 도망치느니라. 그리하여 이리가 양들을 채 가고 흩어지게 하느니라. 삯꾼이 도망치는 것은 그가 삯꾼이기 때문이며, 따라서 양에 대해서는 관심이 없느니라.

나는 선한 목자라. 나는 내 양들을 알고 내 양들도 나를 아느니라. 아버지께서 나를 아시는 것같이 나도 아버지를 아나니 나는 양들을 위하여 나의 생명을 내어 놓느니라.
