“우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌으니 이는 심히 큰 능력은 하나님께 있고 우리에게 있지 아니함을 알게 하려 함이라”(고후 4:7). 오늘 말씀은 우리의 삶이 어떻게 하나님의 신성한 능력을 담고 이를 나타내는 도구로 쓰일 수 있는지에 대해 이야기합니다. 그리고 이 원리를 우리의 삶과 비전에 적용해보며, “나 자신을 상품화하는 방법”에 대해 나눠보고자 합니다. 노아 케이건은 비즈니스는 세 가지 질문으로 구성된다고 했습니다. 사람들이 관심을 가질 문제는 무엇인가? 그 사람들은 누구인가? 그들은 어디에 있는가? 하지만 이 질문은 하나님이 우리에게 주신 비전을 담기에는 충분하지 않습니다. 사람들의 관심을 좇는 것이 아니라, 하나님이 내 안에 심으신 비전과 열정이 무엇인지 찾는 것이 첫 번째입니다.

하나님의 보물과 우리의 비전: 본문에서 사도 바울은 말합니다. "우리가 이 보배를 질그릇에 가졌다." 이 보배는 하나님의 신성한 능력과 영광입니다. 그리고 우리는 이 보물을 담은 질그릇입니다. 이는 단순히 인간적인 생각과 계획이 아닌, 하나님께서 우리에게 맡기신 비전과 사명이 무엇인지를 먼저 찾아야 함을 보여줍니다. 제프 베조스는 “열정이 나를 고른다”는 말을 했습니다. 이 말은 우리가 선택한 열정이 아니라, 우리를 향한 하나님의 부르심과 비전이 있음을 상기시킵니다. “너희 안에서 일하사 자기가 참으로 기뻐하는 것을 원하게도 하시고 행하게도 하시는 이는 [하나님]이시니라”(빌 2:13). 우리 안에 계신 하나님의 능력이 곧 우리의 열정과 사명을 불러일으키며, 그 비전을 이루기 위해 우리는 움직이게 됩니다.

열정이 구체화될 때 상품이 된다: 열정을 구체화하는 과정에서 나오는 솔루션은 곧 우리의 상품이 됩니다. 예를 들어, 구글은 “모든 정보를 체계화한다”는 비전을 실현하기 위해 검색 엔진이라는 상품을 만들었습니다. 우리도 마찬가지입니다. 내 비전이 무엇인지 알고, 그 비전을 실현하기 위해 무엇이 필요한지 고민하며 솔루션을 만들어갈 때, 그것이 하나님께서 주신 신성한 능력을 담은 그릇이 됩니다. 하나님께서 주신 능력은 단순히 머무르는 것이 아니라 나타나는 것입니다. “우리 안에서 역사하시는 능력대로 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것에 더 넘치도록 능히 하실 이에게”(엡 3:20) 라는 말씀처럼, 하나님의 신성한 능력은 우리의 비전을 이루어가는 과정에서 도구가 되고, 결과적으로 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 도구가 됩니다.

트래픽과 영향력- 신성한 능력의 활용: 비전을 실현하려면 영향력이 필요합니다. 오늘날 유튜브와 같은 플랫폼은 우리가 가진 능력과 비전을 세상에 드러낼 수 있는 강력한 도구입니다. 우리가 가진 열정과 믿음, 그리고 삶의 이야기를 통해 세상에 하나님의 영광을 드러낼 수 있습니다. 이는 단순히 마케팅이 아니라, 우리의 신성한 능력을 담은 메시지를 세상에 알리는 일입니다. 그러나 이 과정에서 중요한 것은 우리의 질그릇됨을 인정하는 것입니다. 내가 만든 능력이 아니라, 내 안에 계신 하나님의 능력으로 이루어진다는 사실을 기억해야 합니다. “우리가 무슨 일이든지 우리에게서 난 것 같이 생각하여 스스로 만족할 것이 아니니, 우리의 만족은 오직 하나님께로부터 나느니라”(고후 3:5) 라는 말씀처럼 말입니다.

디지털 시대와 신성한 도구: 디지털 지식 상품은 초기 자본과 리스크가 낮아 시작하기에 적합합니다. 내가 가진 지식, 경험, 열정을 디지털 형태로 담아내는 것은 현대 시대에서 탁월한 방법입니다. 하지만 중요한 것은 그것이 단순히 세상적인 성공을 위한 것이 아니라, 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 신성한 능력을 담은 도구가 되어야 한다는 것입니다.

신성한 그릇으로의 삶: 오늘 하루도 하나님의 영광과 능력을 나타낼 기회입니다. 하나님께서 우리 안에 심으신 비전과 열정을 통해 사람들에게 복음의 빛을 드러내십시오. 우리의 상품화 과정은 곧 하나님의 신성한 능력이 나타나는 도구가 됩니다. 우리는 하나님의 신성한 능력을 담은 그릇입니다. 하나님께서 부르신 그 비전과 열정을 발견하고, 이를 세상에 나눌 때 우리는 놀라운 하나님의 일에 동참하는 것입니다. 오늘도 하나님의 능력으로 담대히 살아가십시오. 우리 안에 계신 그분이 모든 일을 가능하게 하십니다.

Divine Influence in the Digital Age

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

— 2 Corinthians 4:7

Today’s message reflects on how our lives can be vessels to carry and manifest God’s divine power. We will explore how to apply this principle to our lives and vision, specifically addressing how to “productize ourselves” in alignment with God’s purpose.

God’s Treasure and Our Vision

The Apostle Paul states, "We have this treasure in jars of clay." This treasure refers to the divine power and glory of God. We, as jars of clay, carry this treasure. It emphasizes that our first task is to discover the vision and mission entrusted to us by God, not merely pursue human plans or ambitions.

Jeff Bezos once said, “Passion picks me.” This reminds us that it is not we who choose our calling but God who places His vision within us. As Philippians 2:13 says, “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.” The power within us stirs our passion and mission, driving us to fulfill the vision God has entrusted to us.

When Passion Becomes Tangible, It Becomes a Product

When we clarify our passion, it naturally produces solutions, which then become our "product." For example, Google materialized its vision of “organizing all the world’s information” through its search engine. Similarly, we are called to identify our God-given vision and develop the necessary solutions to fulfill it.

This process transforms our God-given abilities into tools that reflect His divine power. As Ephesians 3:20 reminds us, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” God’s power manifests through our journey of fulfilling His vision, ultimately bringing glory to Him.

Traffic and Influence: Harnessing Divine Power

To realize a vision, influence is essential. In the digital age, platforms like YouTube serve as powerful tools to showcase our abilities and vision to the world. Through our passion, faith, and life stories, we can reveal God’s glory to others.

However, it’s crucial to remember that the power at work is not ours but God’s. As 2 Corinthians 3:5 states, “Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.” Acknowledging our reliance on God keeps us humble and aligned with His purpose.

Digital Tools as Instruments of Divine Purpose

Digital products, such as e-books, online courses, and videos, provide accessible and low-risk ways to share our knowledge, experience, and passion. Yet, the purpose behind these tools must transcend worldly success. They should serve as vessels for God’s divine power, bringing His light into the world.

Living as Vessels of Divine Power

Every day is an opportunity to reflect God’s glory and power. By living out the vision and passion God has planted in us, we illuminate the Gospel for others. The process of “productizing” ourselves becomes a means of revealing His divine power.

We are jars of clay carrying the treasure of God’s power. When we discover the vision He has given us and share it with the world, we participate in God’s marvelous works. Live boldly today, empowered by the God who makes all things possible through us.
