가서 제자를 만들어라(딤후 4:1-3)

“[1] 내 아들아 그러므로 너는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 은혜 가운데서 강하고 [2] 또 네가 많은 증인 앞에서 내게 들은 바를 충성된 사람들에게 부탁하라 그들이 또 다른 사람들을 가르칠 수 있으리라 [3] 너는 그리스도 예수의 좋은 병사로 나와 함께 고난을 받으라” (딤후 2:1~3, 개역개정).

“그대가 많은 증인을 통하여 나에게서 들은 것을 믿음직한 사람들에게 전수하십시오. 그리하면 그들이 다른 사람들을 또한 가르칠 수 있을 것입니다.” (딤후 2:2, 새번역).

“and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” (딤후 2:2, ESV).

“You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who ··will be able to pass them on to others.” (딤후 2:2, NLT).

전통교회:

사람들을 모아서 내 교회 교인들을 많이 만들어라(전도. 교회성장, 큰 예배당 건축, 지교회 건축등). "교회 생활" 잘하는 교회와 담임 목사에게 충성된 사람들 중심으로 "진급"(성도, 집사, 서리집사, 안수집사, 장로, 전도사, 목사, 감독)

신앙생활:

“[1] 내가 그리스도를 본받는 자가 된 것 같이 너희는 나를 본받는 자가 되라 [2] 너희가 모든 일에 나를 기억하고 또 내가 너희에게 전하여 준 대로 그 전통을 너희가 지키므로 너희를 칭찬하노라” (고전 11:1~2, 01개역개정)

사도행전, 신약교회:

1. 집에서 집으로 모이는 가정교회

“그리고 날마다 한 마음으로 성전에 열심히 모이고, 집집이 돌아가면서 빵을 떼며, 순전한 마음으로 기쁘게 음식을 먹고,” (행 2:46, 새번역)

2. 성도를 훈련하여 동역자로 만드는 교회

“그것은 성도들을 준비시켜서, 봉사의 일을 하게 하고, 그리스도의 몸을 세우게 하려고 하는 것입니다.” (엡 4:12, 새번역)

“to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,” (엡 4:12, ESV)

“Their responsibility is to equip God's people ,, the body of Christ.” (엡 4:12, NLT)

3. 선교하는 교회: 사람을 파송하여 후원하는 사역

Traditional Church

“Gather people and make them members of my church” (focus on evangelism, church growth, building large sanctuaries, constructing branch churches, etc.). The emphasis is on those loyal to the church system and the senior pastor, with advancement through ranks: believer → deacon → ordained deacon → elder → pastor → bishop.

Christian Life

“[1] Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. [2] I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.” (1 Cor. 11:1–2, NIV/KRV)

Acts and the New Testament Church

1) House-to-House Gatherings (House Churches)

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,” (Acts 2:46, NIV)

“[40] They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. [41] The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 2) A Church that Trains and Equips Believers as Co-workers

“to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Eph. 4:12, NIV)
