One of the most profound principles in the Word of God that guarantees continuous increase in finances is the principle of giving. Not too many people are as excited to give, as they’re to receive, meanwhile the promised blessing isn’t to the receiver but to the giver. Jesus said, “… It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). 2 Corinthians 9:8 gives us clear insight about the blessedness of the giver. It says, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]” (AMPC).

Though the foregoing verses are about finances, Jesus in His sermon on the Mount was more general: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).He said “Give!”

Whatever good thing you desire in your life, sow the seed of it into the lives of others and it’ll be multiplied in your own life. Remember His words his :“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them… ”(Matthew 7:12).

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. The Lord also rewards us for that. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name his, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.(Hebrews 6:10). This can be seen through the meeting of the Lord and Peter at Lake Gennesaret. And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. (Luke 5:1-3).

Peter and those with him returned all night without catching the fish. So Peter's decision to let the Lord use his boat was not easy. The Bible asked Peter, who spoke to the crowd from Peter's boat, to go deep and catch many fish. Peter obeyed, and he caught so many fish that he had no choice but to call his companions while picking up the fish. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.(Luke 5:4-7). Remember that Peter worked all night, but he did nothing. But suddenly he caught a huge fish. Because of what he did for the Lord.

What sacrifices have we made for the gospel? It may be time and money and relationships with family and friends that each of us gives. Whatever it was, God never forgets. Our blessings have not been postponed until we go to heaven. Our blessings begin on this earth. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.(Mark 10:29-31).

Peter did not receive the fish harvest from heaven, but from earth. Therefore, our rewards are not in the distant future. It's closer than we think. Therefore, we are confident that God will reward us at the appointed time.

Please. Because God does not forget our loving labors! And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.(Mt 10:42).

Another thing your giving does is that it helps to increase the fruits of your righteousness: “Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10). Your giving to the Lord connects you and everything that concerns you with blessings that aren’t only for today, but for tomorrow and for all time. Each time you have the opportunity to give, be excited. Our lives as Christians should depict the character of our heavenly Father, who gave His precious Son, Jesus, for our salvation

하나님의 말씀에서 재정의 지속적인 증가를 보장하는 가장 심오한 원리 중 하나는 주는 원리(the principle of giving)입니다. 무언가를 받을 때처럼 주는 것을 기뻐하는 사람들은 많지 않습니다. 하지만 약속된 축복은 받는 자가 아니라 주는 자에게 임합니다. 예수님께서는 (행 20:35)고 말씀하셨습니다.

고린도후서 9:7-8(AMP)은 주는 자의 축복에 대해 분명한 통찰력을 제공합니다. 하나님은 그 일을 하는데 지체하지 않고 기쁘게 행하는 자, 즉 주는 것 안에 그의 마음이 담겨 있는 자를 사랑하시고 기뻐하시며, 다른 일에서도 상을 주시며, 내버려 두거나 없이 지내게 하지 않으신다. 하나님께서 능히 모든 은혜, 즉 호의와 이 땅에서 받는 축복을 너희에게 넘치게 하시나니, 이는 너희가 항상 모든 환경가운데서, 어떤 필요가 있든지 도움이나 후원이 필요 없이, 모든 선한 익과 자선 기부를 하는데 넘치게 제공되어 스스로 만족케 하려 하심이라.

비록 앞의 구절들이 재정에 대해 언급하고 있지만, 예수님은 산상수훈에서 더 일반적인 원리를 제시하셨습니다. 주라. 그리하면 너희에게 줄 것이니 곧 후히 되어 누르고 함께 흔들고 넘치게 하여 사람들이 너희 품에 안겨 주리라. 너희가 잴 때 쓰는 그 척도로 너희가 다시 평가를 받으리라, 하시니라(눅 6:38). 예수님은 주라고 말씀하셨습니다. 우리 자신이 인생에서 바라는 좋은 것은 무엇이나 다른 사람들의 삶에다 그 씨앗을 심으십시오. 그러면 그것은 자신의 삶에서 배가될 것입니다. 주님의 말씀을 기억하십시오. 그러므로 무엇이든지 남에게 대접을 받고자 하는 대로 너희도 남을 대접하라(마 7:12).

우리가 복음을 위해 행하거나 희생하는 전부는 기록될 뿐만 아니라, 그때에 {주}를 두려워한 자들이 서로 자주 말하매 {주}께서 귀를 기울여 그것을 들으시고 {주}를 두려워한 자들과 자신의 이름을 생각한 자들을 위하여 자기 앞에서 기념 책을 기록하셨느니라(말 3:16) 주님께서 그에 대해 우리에게 보상도 하십니다. [하나님]은 불의하지 아니하사 너희의 행위와 그분의 이름을 위해 너희가 보여 준 사랑의 수고 곧 너희가 성도들을 섬겨 왔으며 또 섬기고 있는 것을 잊지 아니하시느니라(히 6:10). 이는 게네사렛 호수에서 주님과 베드로의 만남을 통해 알 수 있습니다. 사람들이 그분께 몰려와 [하나님]의 말씀을 들으려 할 때에 그분께서는 게네사렛 호숫가에 서서 배 두 척이 호숫가에 세워져 있는 것을 보시니라. 그러나 어부들은 배에서 나와 자기들의 그물들을 씻더라. 그분께서 그 배들 중 하나에 오르셨는데 그것은 시몬의 배더라. 그분께서 그가 뭍에서 조금 나아갈 것을 그에게 청하시고 앉으사 배에서 사람들을 가르치시더니(눅 5:1-3).

베드로와 그와 함께한 자들은 밤새도록 물고기를 잡지 못한 채 돌아왔습니다. 따라서 주께서 자기 배를 쓰도록 내어주는 베드로의 결정은 쉽지 않은 것이었습니다. 성경은 예수님께서 베드로의 배에서 무리들에게 말씀을 전하신 후에 베드로에게 깊은 데로 가서 많은 물고기를 잡으라고 요구하셨습니다. 베드로는 순종하여, 물고기를 건져 올리면서 동료들을 부를 수밖에 없을 정도로 많은 물고기를 잡았습니다. 이제 말씀을 그치시고 시몬에게 이르시되, 깊은 데로 가서 너희 그물들을 내려 한 번 끌어당기라, 하시매 시몬이 응답하여 그분께 이르되, 선생님이여, 우리가 밤새도록 수고하였어도 아무것도 잡지 못하였으나 그럼에도 불구하고 선생님의 말씀에 따라 내가 그물을 내리리이다, 하고 그들이 이 일을 행하니 심히 많은 물고기가 잡혀 그들의 그물이 찢어지니라. 그들이 다른 배에 있던 동료들에게 손짓하여 그들이 와서 자기들을 도와주기를 바라니 그들이 와서 두 배에 채우매 배들이 가라앉으려 하더라 (눅 5:4-7). 베드로가 밤새도록 수고했지만 아무 것도 못했다는 것을 기억하십시오. 그러나 갑자기 그는 엄청난 물고기를 잡았습니다. 그가 주님을 위해 한 일 때문입니다.

우리는 복음을 위하여 어떤 희생을 했나요? 우리 각자가 내어드린 것이 시간과 돈과 가족과 친구와 관계일 수도 있습니다. 그게 무엇이었든 하나님께서는 잊지 않으십니다. 우리가 하늘로 갈 때까지 우리의 축복은 연기되지 않았습니다. 우리의 축복은 이 땅에서 시작됩니다. 예수님께서 응답하여 이르시되, 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 나와 복음을 위하여 집이나 형제나 자매나 아버지나 어머니나 아내나 자녀나 토지를 버린 자는 지금 이 시대에서 집과 형제와 자매와 어머니와 자녀와 토지를 백배나 받되 핍박과 함께 받고 오는 세상에서는 영원한 생명을 받으리라. 그러나 처음인 자로서 마지막이 되고 마지막인 자로서 처음이 될 자가 많으니라, 하시니라(막 10:29-31).

베드로는 물고기 수확을 하늘에서 받지 않고 땅에서 받았습니다. 그러므로 우리의 보상은 먼 미래에 이루어지지 않습니다. 우리가 생각하는 것보다 가깝습니다. 따라서 하나님께서 정해진 시간에 우리에게 보상하실 것임을 확신하십시오. 하나님께서는 우리의 사라의 수고를 잊지 않으시기 때문입니다! 또 누구든지 제자의 이름으로 이 작은 자들 중 하나에게 찬 물 한 잔이라도 주어 마시게 하면 진실로 내가 너희에게 이르노니, 그가 결코 자기 보상을 잃지 아니하리라, 하시니라(마 10:42).

우리가 주는 것이 하는 또 다른 일은 우리의 의의 열매가 증가하도록 돕는 것입니다. 씨 뿌리는 자에게 씨를 제공하시는 분께서 이제 너희 양식으로 빵도 제공하시고 너희가 뿌린 씨도 번성하게 하시며 너희의 의의 열매도 늘어나게 하시리니(고후 9:10). 주님께 드리는 것이 우리 자신을 위해 무엇을 할 수 있을까요? 이것은 자기 자신은 물론이고 자신과 관련된 모든 것도 오늘과 내일과 영원히 있을 축복과 연결시켜줍니다. 줄 기회가 있을 때마다 흥분하십시오! 그리스도인의 삶은 우리를 구원하시기 위해 그분의 귀한 아들이신 예수님을 주신 하늘 아버지의 성품을 나타내는 것이 마땅합니다.
